From the moment we got to the lakehouse for Thanksgiving, Ella was ready to fish. Thank goodness her cousin Harrison is good and patient at fishing. She brought her "magical" Barbie fishing pole. She told everyone it was very special. Her grandpa helped her fish some too. After two days, no catch. The last morning we were getting ready to go and Ella came running up the stairs telling us she had caught a fish.
And it was a BIG catfish. It probably weighed twice the weight of her pink fishing pole!
She named the fish RHINO because it was so big. Harrison also caught a smaller fish and Dylan had fun putting the smaller one back in the lake.

Go Ella! That's awesome! We fish catfish out here too, on the James. We just went to a fishing expo this weekend, and i'm pretty sure we were the only non-hick people there! haha. That's what you get in the south. I got your xmas card! I LOVED that it was late. I'm still working on sending my new years cards. Haha. Finally updated the blog too, just for you! Miss you!
