Baby Shower - Corinne

After a give year wait, Corinne got the news that she'd be adopting another baby girl. We were all so excited, we couldn't wait to celebrate. Click on Presley's photo for all the baby shower pictures.

It was emotional and exciting to throw her a baby shower for her new addition, Presley Grace. What a miracle in their lives. So happy to welcome this baby to the neighborhood. Ella feels like Alexa (Presley's older sister) is like a sister, so we feel like this is all in the family. Congrats Corinne!

And where were the boys during this baby shower? Fishing, of course!

Jill's Visit to Dallas

Jill came to visit me in Dallas, we hadn't seen each other in about three years - way too long. Of course, we picked up where we left off and hit the ground running. Her first project was to add some color into my brown/red decor at my house. She put everything in the garage that was in my family room and went to town with her spray paint. She added some greens and yellows to our room. Jill surfs lots of blog decorating sites and has some amazing ideas.
She brought another guest with her, Scott, from San Antonio. He fit right in and we all laughed and had super time together. They got to enjoy the Ricky Martin concert and go to Bishop's Arts District where there is our favorite restaurant, Tillman's steakhouse. Jill and I were always super big fans of Easter, so it was perfect timing for her to come visit. They were the ideal house guests, taking the kids swimming and such. In fact, as soon as Jill left, the kids were begging for her to come back. How does she fit it all in one weekend? I have no idea! I still have so many design assignments from Jill, I feel like she left me with homework. I can't wait to get them all done, but need a month off of life to finish my home makeover! Well, to wrap up our fun weekend together, we were so excited to see two episodes of "Friday Night Lights" on my TiVo. Things always fall into place while we are together. Miss ya Jill!

Easter Sunday

We had a very nice Easter Sunday, new outfits with a tad of yellow, plus our favorite house guest Jill. The day was very focused on the Savior and feeling his love. As a family, we talked each night about the events leading up to the Savior's death. Jill even reminded us of one of our favorite quotes "Come what may and have Joy," Elder Wirthlin.Ella and her brother had fun posing for the camera in their new outfits. After church, we had family over for a big dinner. From the looks of this picture, I think Jill and I just had chocolate and diet coke most of the day! Eric smoked several meats and we enjoyed some fun memories over dinner.

Neighborhood Easter Hunt

We had our second annual Easter egg hunt in our front yard. There was a great turnout. And it's fun to see how much the kids have grown since last year. Can you tell how much I love Easter?
